Wrath of Gods – featuring Gerard Butler

All I can say is that GB fans know how to have fun. We had two screenings of Wrath of Gods at the GB Fan Convention in Washington, DC. The convention actually took place across the river from the capital, at a hotel in Old Town Alexandria. Both screenings were packed and we hada great Q&A after both screenings. It was great to meet all those people who had been among the first to buy the DVD and still, there was a long line of people when they arranged for the signing session. These people know how to have fun.

Wrath of Gods had a great screening at the CUT! 2008 festival in Hollywood on March 29. In attendance were actors Tony Curran, Martin Delaney and director Jon Gustafsson.

Wrath of Gods will be screened at the “TRAVEL THE TIMELINE” GB.NET charity event in Washington, DC on April 5, 2008. Director Jon Gustafsson will be in attendance and answer questions after the screening. For further information see GerardButler.net.

Wrath of Gods will play at CUT 2008 at the New Beverly Cinema in Los Angeles on March 29th. The screening will be attended by director Jon Gustafsson, actors Tony Curran, Steinun Olina and quite possibly other actors.

Wrath of Gods has been invited to Dietro le Quinte film festival in Rome, Italy. The screening will take place on November 30th. For more information click HERE.

Wrath of Gods has won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Documentary Feature at the 2007 Red Rock Film Festival. The festival took place in Springdale and Zion National Park in Utah. Other winners include: GRAND JURY PRIZE, Best Narrative Feature, The Memory Thief – GRAND JURY PRIZE, AUDIENCE AWARD, Best Narrative Feature, Greetings From the Shore – AUDIENCE AWARD, Best Documentary Feature, Damned to Heaven.

Wrath of Gods won Achievement in Filmmaking Award at the Stony Brook Film Festival at the closing night ceremony tonight.

“On a lighter note, Jon Gustafsson’s Wrath of God is a hilarious behind-the-scenes glimpse at just how insane things can get when a movie is being made. When Gustafsson was hired as an extra on the 2004 Scandinavian epic Beowulf & Grendel, he found himself with a lot of time on his hands. Gustafsson picked up a video camera and started documenting a film production that suffered so many disasters that some of the crew actually began to think that the Norse gods were conspiring against them.”

The Waterfront Film Festival has just ended. They convert huge boat sheds and high school gyms into cinemas and fill 700 seats. This has to be one of the most fun festivals I have been to. See more HERE.

Wrath of Gods has been accepted into competition at Stony Brook Film Festival on Long Island, NY. The screening will take place on Wednesday, July 25 at 7:00 pm, along with the short film The Landscaper’s Daughter.

Wrath Of Gods has just been invited to the Waterfront Film Festival. The festival takes place June 7 – 10 in Saugatuck, Michigan.

WRATH OF GODS was the recipient of the AUDIENCE AWARD at the 2007 Oxford International Film Festival. The award was presented by JC Schroder at closing ceremony on April 8th. Other winners include ‘Mojave Phone Booth’, ‘It’s Happiness’ and more.

Wrath of Gods has been chosen to be the Opening Night Gala film at the Oxford International Film Festival in Oxford, Ohio, on April 5th. According to some articles that we have read they received 500 submissions from 36 countries, and they picked WRATH OF GODS to open the festival. We are deeply honored and we are looking forward to the event. Hope to see some of you there.

WRATHO OF GODS has been invited to the 1st Oxford International Film Festival in Oxford, Ohio. The festival takes place April 5-8, 2007.

The 9th RiverRun International Film Festival in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, will be held April 18-23, 2007. WRATH OF GODS has been accepted into their feature documentary competition.

Today the National Screen Institute – Film Exchange Canadian Film Festival announced WRATH OF GODS for their 2007 line-up. The festival takes place in Winnipeg February 28 – March 3, 2007.
